Privacy and personal data

We, Keij Personeelsdiensten B.V., process personal data. Your privacy matters greatly to us, so we comply with the relevant privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Among other things, this means that we:

• clearly record our purposes before processing your personal data, through this statement;
• store as little personal data as possible — only what is necessary for our purposes;
• ask explicit consent for processing your personal data where consent is required;
• take appropriate security measures to protect your data, and impose these on parties that process data for us;
• respect your rights, such as access, rectification or erasure of the data we hold about you.

Your data is safe with us and we will always handle it carefully. This statement explains what we do, through our services and website, with the information we obtain about you. If you have questions, contact us using the details at the bottom.

Which data we process

Depending on your situation we may process, among others:

• name, address, email and phone number;
• date of birth, nationality and ID document details (where legally required);
• social security number, payroll and payment details (upon placement);
• CV, work experience, education, skills, certificates and availability;
• IP address and the data you submit through our forms.

We process this data to place you in work, perform an employment or assignment relationship, run payroll and HR administration, and comply with legal obligations. The legal bases are performance of a contract, a legal obligation, our legitimate interest and — where applicable — your consent. We do not keep data longer than necessary or legally required; application data is kept up to four weeks after the procedure, or up to one year with your consent. Data for payroll and financial administration is kept in line with the statutory (tax) retention obligation of seven years.

Contact form

Through our forms you can ask questions or make requests. For this we use your name, phone number, email address, the message and your IP address. We process this on the basis of your consent to handle your request, and keep it until we are sure you are satisfied with our response, and for three months thereafter.

Sharing with third parties

Your personal data is shared only where necessary or legally required, for example with clients, our payroll administration, pension provider, occupational health service and authorities such as the Tax Authority. We conclude processor agreements with processors. We never sell your data. An up-to-date overview of the processors we engage is available on request.

Third-party websites

This privacy and cookie statement does not apply to third-party websites reachable via links on our site.

Security

The security of personal data is very important to us. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use. If you believe your data is not properly secured, please contact us.

Cookies

We use functional cookies that are necessary for the website to work. We also place — only with your consent — analytical cookies (Google Analytics) to measure and improve use of the site. On your first visit we ask consent via a cookie notice. You can also disable cookies via your browser settings.

Transfers outside the EEA

For Google Analytics, data may be processed on servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Such transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We have configured Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly way (IP anonymisation) and place analytical cookies only with your consent.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal effects on you or otherwise significantly affects you.

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy and cookie statement. Please review it regularly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, and you may withdraw consent. Email info@keijpersoneelsdiensten.nl to do so. Filing a complaint

If you disagree with how we handle your data, file a complaint via info@keijpersoneelsdiensten.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
